Cameron Hill reveals striking look for Triple Eight Super2 entry

Reigning Porsche Carrera Cup Australia winner Cameron Hill will enter his maiden Super2 Series season with title winning squad Triple Eight Race Engineering featuring support from Supaglass Industries.

Following his dominant display in last year’s Porsche Carrera Cup Australia where he achieved six victories and 11 podiums from the 13-race season. His impeccable race record was matched in qualifying where Hill failed to place outside the top three.

Hill recently toured Triple Eight Race Engineering’s Banyo facilities in Queensland where he was more than convinced the partnership will be a successful one.

“It was amazing to finally see my car at the Triple Eight workshop for the first time,” Hill said.

“I’ve never been to the workshop before, and to see the facilities they have here was extremely impressive.

“It’s been really cool to meet all the guys and girls here at the team as well. They have all been so welcoming and everyone seems to be switched on when it comes to our racing program, so I can take a lot of confidence into the first round knowing they’re all on top of it.”

Hill's Commodore primary support from Supaglass for his maiden Super2 campaign in the #111 111 Triple Eight Racing Holden VF Commodore.

“I also want to give a massive thanks to all of the partners, who have jumped on board with me this year,” Hill commented.

“Supaglass as the naming-rights partner have been awesome, and I’m looking forward to getting the Superglass Commodore up the front of the field.”

Further sponsorship is provided by MFW Trade Warehouse, Goodwin & Kenyon Group, Higgins Property, Hayes Cranes, Seears Workwear, Cooper Campbell Waterproofing and Niulife Organic Products.

Hill will have his first test today and Wednesday – his first-ever drive of a Supercar.

“Tuesday will be my first day in the car, which is exciting,” Hill enthused.

“I’ve never driven a Supercar before and I’m expecting it to be a fair bit different, but at the same time I’m really excited to learn.

“Looking on to Sydney, it’s a track I know really well, and obviously the team have performed there well in the past, so I’m hoping I can start the year on a good note.”

The opening Dunlop Super2 Series event will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on March 4-6, supporting the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.
