Season 2025 wraps up in Adelaide

The chequered flag has flown on the very first Supercars Grand Final and it also marked the end of my time with Matt Stone Racing.

My focus for the weekend was to show the speed we know we are capable of. It was turning into a challenging weekend, with a tricky wet race on Friday and a damaged car on Saturday. Thankfully Sunday's final race was an enjoyable one.

We had made some changes overnight and the car felt speedy. I kept out of the first lap trouble and ran a solid race in the top 10 all day. The team lost telemetry with the car from the start, so our last pit stop for fuel was longer than we needed but they wanted to be safe rather than sorry!

All told, it was an 8th place finish and that meant we finished the season 12th in the championship.

I think the biggest talking point is the new finals system! There will always be opinions for and against, but I think it proved to be very entertaining, and added a lot of excitement to our championship. Hopefully next year I can play a part in the Finals!

I felt bad that Broc didn't get the ending he deserved, after such an incredible performance all season, and at the same time admire Chaz as a worthy champion.

For me, it’s time for the new chapter. I am excited for the new challenge ahead with Brad Jones Racing and getting behind the wheel of the new Toyota Supra.

Thank you to Matt Stone Racing for giving me the opportunity to start my career in Supercars. We have enjoyed some incredible times together and I wish them, and my teammate Nick Percat, all the best for the future.

Finally, a big thank you to all my partners for their ongoing support, all the fans at the races and at home for cheering as on.

Have a Merry Christmas and I'll catch you next year!
